Core Team Assembly Launches Listening Season

71 people from 15 Institutions came together last Thursday, June 25, to launch a summer listening season.  Participants heard about MACG’s recent successes and received training on Relational Meetings and the Organizing Cycle.  They committed to host 17 house meetings, and have 514 relational meetings before the September discernment gatherings.  We thanked Rev. Terry Moe for his service to MACG, and welcomed Mary Nemmers as new Lead Organizer.  Thank you to all who helped make the assembly possible.

Goodbye Terry, Hello Mary

Since November, Rev. Terry Moe has done a tremendous job as Interim Lead Organizer, serving to stabilize MACG.  With grateful hearts, we wish him well as he returns to full time Pastoral work.  We are also excited to welcome Mary Nemmers as our new half-time Lead Organizer.  She brings an enthusiasm for all aspects of the job, and desires to build connections between the broadbase.  Her office days will be Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.  Read her bio here.
