For over 30 years, the Industrial Areas Foundation (IAF) has been holding national training sessions for people interested in broad-based organizations across the country. These sessions provide a thorough introduction to the organizing practices and principles developed by IAF member organizations in its 55-year history.
National and Regional Institutes are intended for two groups of people:
- Leaders of institutions who are members of MACG, or are actively exploring membership; or those who are interested in developing broad-based organizing in their area.
- Leaders or members of those organizations who are playing an active role related to the Alliance and who have attended the local Leadership Institutes.
The Industrial Areas Foundation (IAF) conducts 5-7 day advanced Leadership Institutes at the regional or national level three times a year.
