MACG endorses Measure 26-210. Leaders on our two housing teams (Portland/Multnomah and Clackamas County) unanimously supported the endorsement.
The number of homeless people in our region, including families with children, continues to increase. Their situation is even more desperate during the pandemic as they face the threat of serious illness on top of lacking housing, stable food, and other needed services.
Ballot Measure 26-210, sponsored by the HereTogether coalition, funds supportive housing services to prevent and reduce homelessness in the parts of Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington counties that fall within Metro's boundaries.
