Two day Leadership Institute for Public Life training at St. Andrew Lutheran in Beaverton

 

 

Today twenty-five people from five MACG member institutions gathered to learn the basic skills of institutional organizing.

We learned about the importance of the civil sector, we shared the pressures we face individually and collectively, and we learned a few of the fundamentals of organizing.

We discussed the energy to be harnessed from the intersection between our private and public lives, power over vs. power with, and how to whittle a problem down to an issue.
