Rumble on the River is the fourth forum in a series of presentations intended to inform people about the hazards and threats associated with both the Zenith Oil Terminal and the larger Critical Energy Infrastructure Hub (a series of fossil fuel tank farms that stretch for six miles along the Willamette River just north of downtown Portland) that are vulnerable to catastrophic failure in the event of an earthquake or landslide. This hazardous situation, which places a large number of people at immediate risk, can be addressed by action from informed people. This forum features local experts on the issues we are facing and on the potential solutions. This forum is an opportunity to educate and motivate people to join in calling for collective to address the situation and reduce the risks.
