Celebrating Our Growth
July 1 is the beginning of MACG's fiscal year and a great time to reflect!
In the past year:
- We’ve trained 86 leaders through three orientations, a two-day foundations training, two table leader facilitator training, discernment training, a bilingual (English/Spanish) research action meeting training, and a brand-new leadership academy on 1-1 meetings.

- In addition, five leaders traveled to Calgary this June for the five-day IAF Pacific regional training.

- We’ve held a listening season where we tried out a new idea: two cross-organizational listening events attended by 43 leaders. Our second event included two tables for Spanish speakers.
- Our discernment led to two new action teams!
- Healthcare Access - 16 leaders on this team
- Public Safety - 19 leaders on this bilingual (English/Spanish) team.
- We’ve held two Delegate Assemblies:
- On September 22, delegates committed to reigniting and uniting for broad-based organizing.
- On June 22, we held a bilingual (English/Spanish) assembly where delegates voted unanimously to continue the work of the two research action teams and to meet again for our next Delegate Assembly on the afternoon of September 21, 2025, to move from research to action!

Please consider making a financial contribution to MACG to support our continued growth!
MACG is a non-profit powered by the dues from our member organizations, grants, and personal donations. This support helps us fund a part-time organizer, offer leadership development and campaign support, and maintain strong ties to our extended network—not just here in Oregon, but across Washington, Montana, western Canada, Australia, Aotearoa-New Zealand, and beyond.
Why does that matter?
Because we know we’re not alone. We’re part of something bigger—a global movement for democracy, justice, and the common good.
