Safe Overnight Shelter Event

On May 4th, forty community members from the Portland metro area and beyond showed up for a morning of networking and information sharing - “A Place to Catch Your Breath” - a safe overnight shelter event co-sponsored by Providence Health & Services and the MACG Clackamas Housing Team.

The MACG Clackamas Housing Team and Providence’s Better Outcomes Thru Bridges (BOB) Program are collaborating with churches in unincorporated Clackamas County to provide supported Safe Overnight Shelter for people experiencing homelessness. The May 4th event brought together members of church communities interested in exploring SOS, with service providers and other community members committed to being part of the solution to the growing homelessness problem in the county.
