Leadership Academy: 1-1 Meetings

Move past small talk and build real organizing power!

One-to-one conversations are the backbone of community organizing. To lead collectively, we must build relationships of trust across the differences that often divide us. When we dive below the surface of casual small talk and share the stories that shape us, we unlock shared interests and the power to work together for the common good.
However, having deep conversations with new people is countercultural and can feel uncomfortable.
  • What do we talk about?
  • How much do I share?
  • How do I politely end the conversation?

Join us to learn the concrete skills needed to navigate these anxieties, strengthen your organizing practice, and unlock the transformation latent in every conversation.
