This year MACG has been moving through the organizing cycle:

During our winter listening season, two big problem areas emerged: concerns around public safety and healthcare access.

At our June Delegate Assembly two research action teams were commissioned to determine potential local responses that are concrete, specific, and winnable. 

On September 21, we are moving into the next phase of the organizing cycle, where delegates will vote to decide on MACG's next ACTIONS.

The Healthcare Access and Public Safety Teams have spent the summer meeting with experts, local organizations, and elected officials. At the assembly they will present their findings and propose actions to be taken this fall.  Delegates from MACG member organizations will then vote on MACG's next steps.  

This is an important assembly.  Make sure that you are there and bring others from your institution with you.

Este año MACG ha estado avanzando a través del ciclo de organizar:

Durante nuestra temporada de escucha invernal, surgieron dos grandes áreas problemáticas: preocupaciones por la seguridad de pública y la falta de acceso a la atención médica.

En nuestra Asamblea de Delegados de junio, se encargó a dos equipos de acción de investigación que determinaran posibles respuestas locales que sean concretas, específicas y ganable.

El 21 de septiembre, pasaremos a la siguiente fase del ciclo de organizar, donde los delegados votarán para decidir las próximas ACCIONES de MACG.

Los Equipos de Respuesta en Acceso a la Atención Médica e Seguridad Pública han pasado el verano reuniéndose con expertos, organizaciones locales y funcionarios electos. En la asamblea presentarán sus hallazgos y propondrán acciones a llevar a cabo este otoño. Luego, los delegados de las organizaciones miembros de MACG votarán sobre los próximos pasos de MACG.

Esta es una asamblea importante. Asegúrate de estar allí y trae contigo a otros de tu institución.
